# How to Edit a Search Stream in Monitor

## Edit a search stream

To edit a search stream in Monitor, open the **Monitor** menu, select **Edit stream** next to the stream you want to update, make your changes, and click **Save**.

### Steps to edit a search stream

1. Open the **Monitor** menu.
2. Find the stream you want to update in the stream list on the left side of the menu.
3. Click **Edit stream**.
4. Update the search terms, filters, or other stream settings (such as keywords, date ranges, or sources). Note that some settings may require re-confirmation or may reset dependent configurations.
5. Click **Save** to apply your changes.

**Note:** Your changes take effect immediately after saving. Make sure you have the necessary permissions to edit streams; if **Edit stream** is not visible, contact your account administrator. You may also want to review related articles on creating new streams or deleting streams for full lifecycle management.
